It has been reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports that the San Antonio Spurs have traded Boris Diaw to the Utah Jazz. The Spurs will recieve the right to Olivier Hanlan in return, he is a former Jazz second round pick who was on the summer league roster in Orlando.
Diaw has always been a firm favourite in San Antonio as he always performed the role that was asked of him, however they had to move him in order to free up the cap space for Pau Gasol, who they have just signed.
For the Jazz, it is another impressive move as he fills the desperate need for a front court player who can effectively shoot the three. He joins George Hill and Joe Johnson as a new arrival to the Vivint Smart Home Arena.
Diaw averaged six points and three boards on 53% shooting in the 2015-16 season.
