Mavericks sign Seth Curry on two-year contract
Twitter: Free agent guard Seth Curry is finalizing a two-year, $6M deal with the Dallas Mavericks, league sources tell @TheVertical. (@WojVerticalNBA)
Dallas have continued their impressive summer recruiting by adding another shooter to their roster in the form of Seth Curry. According to Adrian Wojnarowski he will sign a two-year contract worth around $6 million and he will likely be an important part of the Dallas bench.
Dallas missed out on their top free agent targets, but they have responded with some good additions to their roster and Seth Curry follows Harrison Barnes, Andrew Bogut and Deron Williams in signing with Dallas.
Curry clearly doesn’t have the talent of his brother, but shooting runs in the Curry family and that is the main attribute he will bring to Rick Carlisle’s team.
Curry only had limited minutes with George Karl’s dysfunctional Sacramento Kings team, but he shot 45% from downtown and was the third best catch and shoot guy in the NBA.
