It is being reported by Kurt Helin of NBC Sports that the Atlanta Hawks are exploring trade options with the Philadelphia 76ers. The talks have been centered around a trade that would see point guard Jeff Teague join the 6ers and Nerlens Noel join the Atlanta Hawks.
The trade could be one that sees both teams win as Philly haven’t had a good point guard since Jrue Holiday left for New Orleans and they have a wealth of big men who need someone to distribute the ball to them.
Similarly, the Atlanta Hawks need a new center as it looks like Al Horford will leave in free agency having been linked to the likes of Boston and Houston.
The latest developments on these trade talks are that the Hawks would likely score the signatures of Nik Stauskas and Robert Covington who could both be dangerous role players in Mike Budenholzer’s system.
